The Eight and Forty has been given the task of assisting in the prevention and control of all respiratory diseases in children

La Boutique des Huit is affiliated with several notable organizations, including:
American Legion Child Welfare Foundation

The National organization was founded in 1922. The symbolic heart of 8 & 40 is in honor of American ground troops of the First World War. The French theme was applied to officers titles and organizational functions. Departemental d'Illinois was chartered in 1926. To this day, every partner of the 8 & 40 has a veteran in their life. This gives her the eligibility to join. It is a privilege to serve children with lung and respiratory diseases in honor of the service of our veterans.

The 2025-2026 year is dedicated to my late grandfather, James Farraher and my late father, Victor Collado. It will also be dedicated to Departemetal Chapeau Passe and my mother, Mary Callado and finally, Departemental Chapeau Passe, the late, Sue Cuniff.
